99 cent make up.....WHAAAT?!

I went on a teeny weeny, spur of the moment, shopping trip. I only bought three pairs of tights (funky colorful ones because that's how I do), and a reversible patent red and leopard print belt from Kohls
and a quad eyeshadow palette from Sally's Beauty Supply.
Ok, so the three pairs of tights and belt together cost less than one of the pairs of tights did originally. Yeah. All together it totaled up to be about $12.00 (which I just realized after looking at the recent that they charged me extra for one of the tights because they took off 70% instead of the 80% that was clearly stickered to it-oh well....I can't don't anything about it now, psh.)
Here, I'll post exactly how freakin sweet of a deal I got.
Belt- Originally $26.00
         I got it for $5.20
Apt 9 Tights-Originally $12.00 each
I got them for $3.60 (this is the one they screwed up on) and $1.20
Vera Wang Tights-Originally $14.00
                              I got them for $1.40
Sweet sweet sweet right :)

And now, the reason I begun this post in the first place......
I have only been into Sally's Beauty Supply like one other time in my life. I went again yesterday and right next to the register was this cute little display of teeny eyeshadows and lip glosses, etc etc. Then I saw this.....99 cents. Huh? 99 cents?! WHAT?!
These are Sally's cosmetics, and because they are so cheap I thought they would probably suck in all honesty. No, I am not one of those people who think that because something is expense it's necessarily better, but come on! They were a dollar! What am I supposed to think?!
So of course I bought one. My friend and I were strolling around in there for awhile and we were the only ones in there, and I didn't feel right not buying something from the poor, lonely, bored looking lady up front. I'm a waitress so I have tons of ones to spare anyway.
I bought this little quad palette. It has this shimmery pink, shimmery aqua/teal, a semi-matte, kinda sparkly purple and green. The aqua color is AMAZING! The pigmentation is unbelievable! The pink is pretty good too, and the green is alright, and the purple isn't very impressive-but in all honesty, not many purples are for some reason. This is the only Sally's product I've ever tried and for less than (ok, that's pushing it, but technically it's true) a dollar, it's completely worth it. I'm fairly impressed, and I will be most likely purchasing more.

So, there you have it. I've been trying to update this thing but, urrrrrhhhhh!
Adios.
